Removal of the old bridge, and installation of a new bridge were part of this project. The existing timber bridge was deemed inadequate for emergency services access. Council commissioned Gibson Building to install the new two spanned, metal framed, hardwood decked bridge.

The 1770 Foreshore Parklands Redevelopment Project incorporated the supply and installation of boardwalks, picnic shelters, BBQs and the erection of park furniture, change rooms/toilets, concrete pathways and lighting. Additionally, all landscaping aspects were included.

A number of Beach Access Stairs were required at points along Agnes Water’s main beach. We were commissioned to document, design and install 4 hardwood beach access stairs. The design incorporated the flexibility to relocate both the landing and the stair flight as one unit as required due to beach erosion.

Gladstone Regional Council commissioned Gibson Building to design and construct a 6 bay shed for storage of equipment at Toondoon Botanical Gardens, Gladstone.

Gibson Building won Agnes Water State School tender as part of the economic stimulus package and schools infrastructure building scheme – the Federal Government BER program. Gladstone Airport Corporation (GAC) commissioned Gibson Building to design and construct the Careflight Hanger Facilities utilising modular facilities and a fabric-covered roof structure.

Gladstone Regional Council commissioned Gibson Building to design and construct an office extension to their existing facilities at Toondoon Botanical Gardens in Gladstone.
