GEA Office Refurbishment Project

Project Brief

Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA) recently relocated their Office to 69 Goondoon St, Gladstone. This was a major refurbishment of an existing Legal Office and it’s associated entry arcade and amenities.

Designed and documented by Gladstone Drafting and further collaboratively enhanced with Gibson Building, meant the outcome, exceeded expectations for all that were involved.

Evolution of the design

We have taken a very ‘tired’ and dark Legal Office and transformed it into a light and modern multipurpose  Office facility and rebuilt the associated amenities.

The Building – which was built in the 50’s – had a beautiful hardwood timber floor which was professionally covered by commercial carpet. Sanding and clear coating this original floor made such a dramatic contrast and impact on the outcome.

Further the installation of two custom made sliding ‘Barn Doors’ has quite the affect – as well as the function – on the general Office floor aesthetics.

The Project is now complete with the official opening at the end of February 2018.

Shipping Container Pools – From Concept to Reality
